50 YEAR CELEBRATION & REUNION

Dear alumni of Deepika English Medium School, Rourkela,

We will be highly privileged by your august participation in the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of our Alma Mater "Deepika English Medium School, Rourkela".

As the school steps into the Golden Jubilee Year in 2025, we will be celebrating it in style, pomp and grandeur.

Inauguration of the Golden jubilee gate of the school and the Grand Gala cultural programme has been organised by the school on 14.11.2024. This was the curtain raiser.

There will be a yearlong programme in the school in the calendar year 2025, culminating in a Global Alumni Meet and Golden Jubilee Reunion coined "HOMECOMING 2025" on 27th and 28th December 2025.

We eagerly await your response and look forward to welcoming you to your roots.

The registration fees are as follows:

1. A sum of ₹5000 for alumni who have passed school before 2016. (With respect to class X)
2. A sum of ₹2000 for alumni who have passed in 2016 and after. (With respect to class X)
3. ₹2000/person for any additional person accompanying.

The school is ours and so are our emotions attached with it..hence Besides registration one can also contribute as per their desire for the golden jubilee celebration. The Alumni Association of Deepika School has initiated a scholarship scheme for the deserving students of our school in the memory of our 1st Principal Late V N N Panicker, named “GURUASHEESH”. We propose to fund the education of 50 bright deserving children every year under this scheme. The approx. scholarship amount will be Rs30000/- per annum per student. On the auspicious 50th year of our school we appeal to the alumni to contribute freely as their GURUDAKSHINA.

In this golden jubilee year, we also plan to raise a corpus fund for the infrastructure development of the school like auditorium, a new building for the primary students etc. It is an appeal to the alumni to support our efforts.
